William H. Rhodes, P.E.
President, Senior Project Director / Engineer
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University. Since completing his education he has accumulated more than twenty-eight years experience in environmental cleanup, remediation, and emergency response.
Beginning his career with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), Bill eventually served as District Director before leaving to go into private industry. His experience includes the designing and implementation of water and wastewater systems as well as being project manager on many hazardous waste facility cleanups, lagoon closures, and sludge dewatering projects.
He has extensive experience in emergency spill response and cleanups, including serving as project director of a large spill involving more than five hundred thousand gallons of diesel fuel in a river. Because of the extent and diversity of Mr. Rhodes’ experience and training, his input is an invaluable resource on all projects.
Chief Financial Officer
Elizabeth graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Accounting. Since graduating she has 18 years of experience in the environmental services industry. Elizabeth has worked in a lead role in jobs ranging from largescale manmade disasters such 9/11 to natural disasters such as Katrina and just about everything in between.
As CFO she keeps the trains running on time in 3R. In addition to making major budgetary and balance sheet decisions within the company, her role as a CFO also bleeds over heavily into running logistics. Many of her day-to-day decisions include preparing company resources and staff for projects and dealing with operations. With her role at the company, she has become a certified Disposal Expert with extensive trainings and certifications.
Mother of seven kids, Elizabeth loves spending time with her family. Her hobbies include jet-skiing, cooking and going to the beach. Go Gamecocks!
Chief Operations Officer
Jay has 30 years of experience in the industrial and environmental sector. He has been on thousands of unique and challenging jobs ranging from the mundane soil decontamination to working with NYPD in cleaning up the 9/11 disaster. A few of his certifications include: OSHA 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Training, OSHA 24 Hour Hazardous Waste Trainer for Supervisors, OSHA 8 Hour Refresher Trainer, and 24 HOUR Confined Space Trainer
Jay oversees the end-to-end the project management of every single job. He handles everything from hiring and managing personnel, overseeing logistics, managing equipment resources, and delivering premium service for clients. In his time at 3R Jay has managed to build a team that constantly ready to respond to emergencies in a moment's notice.
In his spare time Jay enjoys working on trucks and racing motorcyles.
