- 40 hour OSHA Emergency Response
- 40 hour OSHA Hazardous Materials
- Confined space entry
- Blood-borne pathogens
- Heavy and light equipment operation and maintenance
- Substance sampling
All employees are subject to a strict drug-testing program that complies with the new DOT standard and most industry standards. Although the records for these programs are considered confidential they are available to prospective clients if required.
3R, Inc. has a diversified staff that includes engineers, chemists; DOT / Hazardous waste compliance specialists, transportation, occupational safety and health specialists, marketing and sales professionals, administrative personnel, and support from various consultants and associates. Below in this document are experience biographies of the principal project managers.
Because all projects are different and unique in their own right, project managers select and coordinate the associates and consultants whose training and expertise best fit that particular job. William H. Rhodes, P.E.
Senior Project Director / Engineer
Bill Rhodes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University. Since completing his education he has accumulated more than twenty-eight years experience in environmental cleanup, remediation, and emergency response.
Beginning his career with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), Bill eventually served as District Director before leaving to go into private industry. His experience includes the designing and implementation of water and wastewater systems as well as being project manager on many hazardous waste facility cleanups, lagoon closures, and sludge dewatering projects.
He has extensive experience in emergency spill response and cleanups, including serving as project director of a large spill involving more than five hundred thousand gallons of diesel fuel in a river. Because of the extent and diversity of Mr. Rhodes’ experience and training, his input is an invaluable resource on all projects.
